Founded by former NFL Head Coach Mike Tice, the Mike Tice Foundation was built on a simple premise: using the power of sports and celebrity to make a profound impact on the communities we call home. What started as a vision to bring friends, athletes, and local leaders together has grown into one of the premier charity golf events in the Pacific Northwest.

THE FOUNDATION STORY
What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a nationwide mission. In 2011, Mike Tice gathered family and friends from New York, Minnesota, and Seattle for a small event in Nevada, raising $25,000 for the local Boys & Girls Club. By 2018, that single initiative had raised over $1.6 million, helping to fund a brand new clubhouse for the youth of Western Nevada. Driven by this success, The Mike Tice Foundation was officially formed in 2019 to expand that life-changing impact across the country.
Today, thanks to our dedicated sponsors, volunteers, and celebrity guests, the foundation proudly partners with charitable organizations across five states. In 2025 we donated over $165,000 to 13 distinct charities, funding programs that support youth during and after the school year.
Our 5-State Footprint
Washington State
Providing full scholarships for youth experiencing housing insecurity and free club memberships through the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound, Thurston, Mason, and Kitsap counties.
New York
Awarding the annual Lois and Jack Tice Memorial Scholarship to deserving student-athletes in Central Islip, and partnering with Ryan’s Reason in Buffalo to support families facing child loss and PKD
Minnesota
Partnering with Twin Cities Firefighters' Operation Warm to provide winter coats for children in need across Vikings Country.
Maryland
Jerry Claiborne Scholarship Endowment providing Scholarships for Student Athletes
Missouri
Equipping youth sports programs, such as providing new training gear for Parkway South High School in St. Louis.
Provide swimming and gymnastics scholarships to young children.
